“GLAMOUR OF THE GOLDEN AGE: A FUSION OF ART DECO AND ASIAN HERITAGE”

The design effortlessly combines the lavish glamour of 1920s Berlin with the elegance of Art Deco design, all while infused with the rich heritage of Korea.

The design of the restaurant echoes the spirit of the 1920s era, with strong red and dark wood accents that add a touch of glamour. In a nod to Korean heritage, glossy finishes reminiscent of ottchil lacquer work, brass metal cabinet details, embroidered fabrics and silken tassel details are incorporated, showcasing the nation’s traditional craftsmanship.

When entering the space you are met with the stunning bar with its sunburst straw marquetry panels with shades of rich red combining classic art deco design with a hint of Korean influence also represented in the 1920’s style swirled glass lighting shades to the bar gantry set into a leaf-like brass frame. The emerald, green bar stools add deep jewel tones set against the classic black and deep red marble floor tiles which feel integral to the space like they have always been there.

Art deco vintage console tables zone the space featuring bird motifs and marquetry inlay work dressed with bold glossy deep red lamps with lantern-like linen shades infusing the twenties design and Asian heritage.

The allure of the restaurant is further enhanced with elements of Korean aesthetics. Intricate linen lanterns delicately diffuse warm and gentle lighting, creating a serene ambience.

It is a celebration of the past, a homage to the golden ages of Berlin and Asia. Each detail, from the graceful archways to the avant-garde fabric patterns, showcases the artistry and craftsmanship of the era. It is a visual journey that pays tribute to the beauty and diversity of Asian cultures where history, culture, and artistic excellence intertwine.
