Design at its very nature is a collaborative process. That’s why The Studio at Pattern Haus pulls together many different skill-sets from multiple specialists connected in our world of design. Be it project managers, planning specialists, materials experts, or the designers themselves, it is a collaborative process with one sole purpose… to deliver our clients the perfect result.
Pattern Haus was founded by Karen Taylor, formerly a creative director for DesignLSM and previously working with and consulting to a range of top global design agencies such as Landor and Fitch.
Karen has been working collaboratively with leading brands in the retail, restaurant and hotel sectors, and designing for private clients since 1998. Her work can be seen around the globe spanning interiors in London, Middle East, and Europe to name just a few of many locations. And she has designed private spaces for celebrities and prominent individuals across the UK.
Karen founded Pattern Haus to create a truly collaborative creative studio. Not just to bring a variety of multi discipline creatives under one roof but to work and build on more than a quarter of a century of relationships she has developed with skilled crafts people, contractors and suppliers to create beautiful spaces for her clients.

Design
Developing a strong concept from which we work with you to finalise a complete interior design.
Scope
Production of full scope for project, end to end process, including selection and recommendation of contractors, specialist consultants and project managers.
Build
We act as your point person, liaising with everyone involved, ensuring all the moving parts are working towards the same design goal.
Direction
What’s that old saying. If a plan doesn’t work change the plan not the goal. Things happen, plans change – we keep it all on target to achieve your goal.
